This article reveals three powerful mantras to overcome life’s obstacles.
I’ve always been a bit skeptical about mantras. And all the solutions they are supposed to bring to our lives. For a long time, I haven’t understood how repeating words over and over again could change your life for good.
So I did some research about mantras and their effects on the brain. In my article « What are mantras and how do they work ? For real! » I reveal key facts about mantras, or I recommend you to read this article if you don’t even know what mantras are.
Life is a journey, no doubt. It’s full of twists, turns, and those annoying obstacles that can feel like big roadblocks. This is why using mantras can be a small but effective thing to help you get through difficult times. No magic, just a few powerful words – mantras.
A mantra is like a secret weapon for dealing with life’s challenges. It’s a simple word or phrase that you repeat to keep your spirits up and stay focused. Usually I’m really traditional with mantras, I always repeat Sanskrit mantras because they have been created in a particular way (cf my article on « what are mantras« ). But I also believe in the power of attraction, and both can be linked in a certain way. Mantras are essentially positive affirmations or statements. By repeating a mantra with a positive intention, you are reinforcing positive thoughts and beliefs.
The Law of Attraction posits that focusing on positive thoughts and intentions can attract corresponding positive outcomes into your life. When you chant a mantra, you often accompany it with focused visualization of your desired outcome. This combination of sound (the mantra) and visualization (the intention) can help clarify your desires and keep your mind focused on your goals, which aligns with the Law of Attraction principles. A consistent mantra practice can serve as a reminder to maintain a positive mindset and consistently focus on your goals. The Law of Attraction suggests that consistent, positive thought patterns are more likely to manifest your desires.
So, I’ve decided to mix between traditional mantras and « new age mantras », to make sure you find something that could work for you. Here are three mantras that can help you get past those obstacles and unlock your full potential :
1. « Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha »:
This mantra is dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity in Hinduism, who is widely revered as the remover of obstacles and the lord of new beginnings.

The mantra « I welcome change » is like a warm hug for your mind. It encourages you to see change as a chance, not a problem. When life decides to mix things up, repeat this mantra. By welcoming change, you shift from seeing obstacles to seeing stepping stones toward something better. This mantra opens the door to new ideas, creativity, and the ability to adapt like a champ.
3. Om Shri Dhanvantre Namaha:
This mantra is associated with Lord Dhanvantari, a divine physician in Hinduism. It is chanted to seek healing, good health, and the removal of obstacles related to physical and mental well-being. You can listen to it here.
